court

the boys just finished a basketball class at the local commnunity center.

4 boys go to the soccer court. they play a game. full court! 2 against 2. nathan and ilan against the other 2. one goalie at each end, protecting the real goal, with a frame and a net. one against one to run on the whole court!...

some men start to arrive. they have a soccer game at this time. 1, 2, 8 men - all waiting next to the court. they don't enter the court, there is a game going on!

i don't know what impresses me more.

those men who say nothing, who patiently wait for the four 6-year olds to finish their game...

or the chutspa and self-confidence of these boys, who think nothing of taking hold of the entire court and of keeping those men waiting...
